English born Simon knew his career would be in photography
at the age of 15.
Simon attended the University of the Arts in London, receiving
an Honours Degree in design, specializing in photography.
Following two years as an art director in a London advertising
agency, he was offered a position in Nashville, Tennessee,
in a commercial photography studio. He worked on music album
shoots, portraits, and location advertising assignments.
He also traveled widely and absorbed a rainbow of experience.
A Toronto resident since 1985, he began building his client
list while working with many other photographers to continue
polishing his craft.
Simon's fine art photography is shown internationally,
and his list of clients is substantial. He has received
the prestigious Art Directors Club of Canada Award for Photojournalism.
Now an established wedding photographer, he is a proud
partner in the highly creative Harvard Photo team.
Simon's ability to explore light and composition reflects
his strong foundation in design. He draws on his valuable
experience in both digital photography and rare vintage
techniques to create images of unique character.
His friendly nature and easygoing manner, combined with
his skills as a coordinator, have earned him a place among
sought-after wedding photographers.
His motto is, "When the eye of the camera becomes
the eye of the heart, expect to see beautiful results."
